Le vallon des Auffes fait partie des petits endroits sympas de Marseille.
Du haut des arches, sur la voie express, on n’imagine pas ce petit nid caché et ses restaurants.
D’en bas, on entend pas les voitures mais les mouettes et les pecheurs.
Je suis arrivé vers les 10 heures , et j’ai fini ma peinture a 13heures, pas facile de rester concentré avec les fumets des restaus autour.

For those who know Marseille ( please, don’t spell it Marseilles, drop the final s), There’ are some little amazing places . Le vallon des auffes is one of them. A little hidden port with very good restaurant nested in the big town. Up the big Arches, about 30meters high, an urban higway. but here, you don’t ear the cars, just the talking of the fishermen and the gulls.
I arrived at about 10am and the painting was done around 1pm, it was about time, it’s difficult to stay focus with an empty stomach surrounded by the flavors of the closests restaurants.
